This was a competitive game against the team from Sussex and really enjoyable to watch.
Heywood were short of players so Cal, Ben and Jonah volunteered to wear the red shirts with Theo joining them in the 2nd half.

The travellers scored first before Forest hit back with a Will penalty and a try from Jackson (Will converted) to leave the score 10-5 at half time.

I the second the game opened up with Will converting his own try and Jonah hitting back for the visitors. Further tries from Jackson and Will appeared to make the game safe but a late come back from Heywood Heath led to a close finish.

This was a good game against a friendly club and a return match has been arranged for September.
