Leicester Forest fielded two teams against South Leicester, a total of 17 played, they were: Riley, Dylan, Logan, Will, Alex, Luke, Ross, Oliver, Kai, George, JayJay, Josh, Neive Theo, Toby, Charlie and Ben. South Leicester fielded 9 players.

The morning started off windy and bright and ended up blustery and very cold. Yet despite the poor weather conditions both teams put in great performances, with Leicester Forest edging it.

I spoke to Mitch in the clubhouse after the game. He said 'Both Leicester Forest teams displayed great offensive skills. Going forward they were amazing, but needed to work on line speed and tagging.'

Speaking to Adey and Stubs (South Leicester team coach), they singled out Neive and Logan for a mention and an example of how performance was improving saying 'Neive got tagged yet she passed out of the tackle to Logan who scored a try.' This, they said, was the first time they had seen a team perform such a move all season.

Laces were awarded to: Riley, Kai and Ben. Well done to all.

A last word goes to the coaches, Dave, Adey and Mitch, who continue to give up their own time and do such a fantastic job training the players. Many thanks.
