Amidst torrid, freezing conditions Leicester Forest fielded 11 players: JayJay, Kai, George, Oliver, James, Ben, Nieve, Toby, Charlie, Will, Alex.

Despite the conditions the 11 that turned up played amazingly.

George and Kai teamed up with 2 Market Bosworth boys which gave us perfect numbers for 4 teams - a round robin. Too many great performances to mention, with awesome game speed at times. The usual shortcoming were evident including tagging, but these can be worked on.

Oliver and Alex were awarded the laces today. Oliver for listening well and for finally staying on his feet. Alex - a changed boy, his pace and concentration led to a fantastic effort.

Some parents froze on the side lines and had to be warmed up with drinks at the clubhouse afterwards. Not tea or coffee...
